I'd be interested in what you guys think about this lefty 381/12. I've never seen the pick ups positioned like this? What say you?

Looks like a left hand version of a 381/12

Hmmmm..thought I'd already said that Tom.....what about the pick up position??

Graham: YOu are right, the bridge pickup on most of the models I have seen is much closer to the bridge. This one is quite a bit farther forward than is typically the case. What is the year of this guitar?

Peter, It's a 1999. It just looks odd...no signs of extra holes etc.looks straight out of the factory, but odd?!?

Very nice.....Due to the p/up placement the guitar may have a surprisingly different sound than most 12-string Rickenbackers...

That is indeed unusual. I've seen some early 350v63 guitars (not 350s) with the treble pickup in a weird place too. Neat-o!
