Ric sighting!!
Anybody see the special last night about the ending of Friends? The one with Katie Couric? They had the Rembrandts on there with a couple of Rics, a guitar and bass.....pretty good closeups, I thought.....

Yes Chris, it was a very nice to see The Rembrandts.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

A couple of new videos at http://www.launch.yahoo.com have RIC basses in 'em.
The Distillers' (fronted by Brody Dalle, secret offspring of Joan Jett and Courtney Love) video for "Beat Your Heart Out" has a montage of concert footage in which the bassist plays what appears to be a 4003MG (among other basses), although the jumpy camera work makes it hard to identify it definitively.
The Franz Ferdinand video for "Take Me Out" features Bob Hardy playing what appears to be a 4003JG. Lotsa crazy graphics.
Another (slightly older) video I recently caught was the Eagles' "Hole in the World," and there are a few glimpses of Glenn Frey playing a 650...could be a Sierra, could be a Dakota: the video is in B&W, so I can't tell the color of the hardware. The final shot of the video is a closeup of Glenn unplugging the 650.

Ice is free, but it's cold.
