Paul Goddard

Post by jaymi »

Does anyone remember Paul Goddard from Atlanta Rhythm Section? They did a record in 1978 called "Champagne Jam" He used s Rick for the whole record and it shows. Remember the song, "spooky"??? Another good Ric tone...I did a websearch and could not come up with anything on him. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts?

One big dude, but a helluva bass player. Listen to him in the song "Large Time" from that same record. Monster tone - a real underrated Rick player.
Plus I'm from Georgia...rock radio raises you on that stuff down here.
Here's a pic of him w/ his 4001.

Bonus points: Ever heard the band Shudder To Think cover the ARS tune "So Into You"? WOW!

Do we know what he is doing now? On allmusic.com, that picture has the complete discography underneath. The last thing it shows is 2000 for the recording of the millenium masters. Does anyone know where a more utd site for him is? I checked the ARS site and there is one picture with him and a maplglo...
