Finish bleeding onto neck binding

After playing for some time, the finish on my 360 neck is bleeding into the binding. Anybody have some tips to stop this? thanks...

I have the same thing going on with my 4003, some of the white binding has coloration from the instrument's blue finish. My bass is new so I figured it left the factory that way.
I too would like to know how, if at all, the binding can be safely brought back to white?
