Rickenbacker sightings

I was at the Experience Music Project last night (8/8) for their weekly open mic and was pleased to find two Rickenbacker players among the performers.

The '86 Fireglo 610 was in the hands of a fellow named Charles, who plays and sings with a band called Math and Physics Club. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were.

The vintage fireglo 450 was in the hands of a woman I didn't get a chance to meet. She played "No Matter What" and "Ticket to Ride" with a pick up band.

Here's the coolest thing though: Of all the brands of guitar that people brought to the show (The EMP furnishes the open mic with Fenders), Rickenbacker came out on top. I think even above Martin!
