Crosby interview recently

Post by rick12dr »

I just read a nice interview with Croz done by folks from a Japanese acoustic guitar mag, where they talk to him at his home, and he primarily discusses acoustics, as well as music. Pics as well.Go to crosbycpr.com, and click on "interviews" section.Check some of the other interviews as well.Good reading!

OK, I know this is an old thread. But it's worth refreshing. Interesting stuff. Ol' Croz ain't totally fried after all.

Where *is* the "interviews" section? I don't see it across the top menu/toolbar, or on any of the pages I clicked on...or am I just blind?

Interesting interview. I'm a big Crosby fan. Seen him many times. I'd sure like to see that Hero vid he talks about!

I read this interview a bit ago too. I recently heard an interview of Joni Mitchell where she too talks about exactly the same thing (CBC maybe?). Interesting perspectives on the "biz." Glad I don't rely on it for my livelihood.

Probably not what you're referring to, but there was a great article about Joni, February 4, in the New York Times. She's currently busy with three projects: an art gallery show, a CD of new songs, and advising on a ballet based on the new CD. She's long been one of my favorites.

Soon as I get this stupid time machine to work, I'm going back to the mid 60's to "discover" her...
Here is where I hide my music:

Vanity Fair did a great piece on Joni Mitchell several years ago.
I might still have it somewhere.
Hmmm, one project to add to the list.

His observations on the hamheads that run big labels are hysterical and unfortunately probably pretty accurate.
This is off the record

Get his newest book, "How I survived everything, and lived to tell about it", or, "Since Then",meaning everything that happened since '87-'88, liver transplant, finding a long lost son, forming CPR, and on and on.A great read[of course, I am a Huge Croz fan...]

Does the name of his new group strike anyone else as being outrageously hilarious? CPR--and after having a liver transplant. What a hoot! This guy's got a great sense of humor.
