E1 questions

I have a factory left handed E1 circuit I'm attempting to install in a 350-12. I need to know two things:
1. Is the circuit board and all connections a true mirror image?
2. Do the color coded wires retain the same desinated connections and functions? (i.e. black is ground, white is hot,... etc.)
