Phil Jones Bass amps, how good?

I would expect anything that Phil Jones built to be outstanding, considering his reputation as a designer in the audiophile loudspeaker and pro audio worlds. The few reviews of his new bass amps that I could find have been glowing in their parise. Has anybody seen and heard one of these amps in the flesh? The prices seem reasonable for the smaller amps, considering the build quality.
