RIC website
Every once in a while I'll check out the RIC website, only to find that there's nothing new (aside from an occasional update to the home page graphic). Does anyone know if RIC manages their site in house or whether it's done by an external company? I'd love to see pictures of their various models in all the available RIC finishes. Some news on current bands using Rickenbackers would be great. Any other things you'd like to see on their site?

Lots of things I would LIKE to see...but it would require a major overhaul of the site. Like audio clips, virtual tour of the factory, a Rickenbacker historical video, make it more interactive. Also, I would like to be able to see the guitars and basses in the color I choose, not a little swatch of each color. Maybe you could pick the color, the hardware (if there is an option) and then it shows you what it looks like with gold hardware, or chrome, or black. Something like that.

You know, thinking about it, in this day and age, Rick really needs to think about this. Look how much information is shared on this forum alone. A website packed with pics and information is very valuable to me, and thousands of people worldwide.

The real jest is the Ric site. I know we'd all be just as crazy about them if there were no site at all, but it would be nice to hear news straight from the horses mouth, as it were. There really is so much they could tell us. I understand that Ric don't do tours of the factory, so the virtual tour idea earlier, would be a real winner.
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.
