Phoenix gigs

Post by philipharris »

Not strictly a rick post, and a bit of a longshot but I'm in Phoenix for a couple of days - any Arizona forumites able to recommend a good gig Friday/Saturday night (especially if Rics are played!) or a good guitar shop?
enough, already.

Hi Philip! I'm here in Scottsdale/Phoenix. Bizarre Guitar in Phoenix easily has the most Ricks in town. Then again, theres not a lot of stores to choose from. You might even find an old one or two there. Check them out. They have a lot of stuff and it's kinda interesting. Good luck.

The 'best' store is in Tucson, "Rainbow". You need to ask to see the vintage stuff, it is in a back room. They'll have 30 or so vintage guitars and 3-5 Ricks.... Agreed: Bizarre is the best in Phoenix, but expect 10 new guitars...

What part of town are you staying in and for how long?

Thanks guys! I'm out of town at Desert Ridge, one more night. What I'd really like is a steer to a good gig for tomorrow night if anyone's got one.....
enough, already.
