One slight quibble I have with Castle's new reissues is that there is still no information whatsoever as to the actual release dates of the records. The Kinks reissues of a few years back offer hard release dates (example: KINKS lp released 2 Oct. 1964). EMI's at Abbey Road series also offers hard release dates on The Hollies, Dakotas, Pacemakers, Shadows, etc. However on every single Searchers release all that are available are month and year. Are the dates lost in the Pye files? Does anyone have any information?
