Modding a 320

I own a 1983 320 in jetglo, and, as most everyone here knows, it has five control knobs. I'm undergoing the extremely difficult task of modding it to look somewhat like a 325V59. Does anyone know were to find a gold truss rod cover? And can I disconnect the fifth "mixer" knob?

You can can order a gold trussrod cover from Ric..but you will need to turn in your existing white one to do that.

It's very easy to take the 5th control out of circuit. It's wired as a variable resistor not a potentiometer, so just desolder the two connections and join two wires together.
