Amazing finish on a 360/12v63

Post by glen_l »

Check out the gorgeous Fireglo finish on this 360/12v63. It's possibly the most vintage looking finish I've seen on a later model Ric. This is a '91 model and is even better closeup. Not a trace of pink to be seen, just a lovely yellowing of the middle and binding.

The finish is extremely close to the look of the '66 330/12fg on pg 89 of the Smith book. Always loved the look of that particular guitar.

That's something you can really call "beautiful." I'm definitely looking forward to owning a 360/12C63. Not only are they fabulous looking guitars, but the sound is addicting to me. I could listen to "I Call Your Name" all day long.

I really kind of like the pink color in the middle... Maybe I'm communist. To me, it distinguishes FireGlo from Cherry Sunburst Les Pauls.
