He states" You are bidding on a truly one of a kind bass that I picked up from A small maker in Midland,Texas. I saw it and had to have it. It has a clear acrylic body with a toilet seat attached with screws on either side (these can be removed easily, if so desired, and replaced with pretty much anything that can accomodate screws). The neck is a one piece maple neck and fretboard (with some light flaming). I relpaced the origanl pickups with Rio-Grande J-style. Electronics include a volume knob and neck and bridge on/off switches. The tone is about as clear as they come, but still retains warmth. Don't be fooled by the shape, this players piece as well as a good conversation/collectors piece. I hate to let this one go, but I need a 5/6 string/money for christmas gifts. I may trade for a 5/6 string fretted/fretless.
REMIND ME NEVER TO GO TO MIDLAND, TEXAS!
