Want To Replace The Bigsby On My 325 With A Tailpiece

Post by NickD »

Hi all -

I'm considering replacing the Bigsby unit on my 325V59 with a non-vibrato tail piece.

But before I do, I'd like to know which Rick tailpiece would be the best fit and most stable for this guitar. Any thoughts?

Regards

Nick

Ask Peter McCormick that question ,see what he did ,and what he has to say about that.
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!

NickD: It comes down to aesthetics and functionality I guess. The "R" would look nice on the 325V59, but my preference would be for the trapeze tailpiece as it gives the guitar an older look historically and I find it to be somewhat more stable. You can install either yourself but you will have holes showing from the Bigsby.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
