60's Neck Pickup?

Post by popster »

Is the only difference between a neck pickup and a bridge pickup in a late 60's RIC the length of the magnets.

For some reason ,that period saw a change to the neck pickups magnet length .

Perhaps it was to change the tone ,perhaps it was a case of neck joint integrity.

Soon there after ,the toasters went away for years .I am only too glad to see them back in place .

The actual windings and bobbins are identical .
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!
