Coldplay

Although he he uses a lot of Fenders, Jonny Buckland of Coldplay plays a jetglo 360/12 on about a quarter of their songs.

Guy Berryman from Coldplay plays a Ric bass sometimes..

Looks like a 4001 with full width inlays?
I presume Azureglo though the colours in the pic look washed out so it's hard to be certain...

If you like Coldplay, pick up a copy of their live DVD, lots of great shots of their gear, including the 360/12. Both Johnny and Chris use the Ric. Johnny plays slide on it with his hand over the top of the neck for "Daylight".

In todays Times newspaper in London there is a picture of Chris Martin on stage at the weekend resplendent with his 12 string Jetglo 360.

I saw that shot, but in the NME Kieran - really nice! So nice in fact that I'm considering a swap deal on my V64...

The Edge uses a slide on his 330-12 loads

They used it on this song too:

(Good song, too - one of the two songs I like by them.)

Great song, something I think the Lemon Antennas could do. Thanks for that. :D

Midnite blue with full width inlays? When did that happen? (besides 08, I mean.)

Ah, the Shiver video!

I friggin love this band. Just about everything they've recorded has been great. Even the b-sides are great.

I saw a John Mayall gig on tv back in the '80s and he was playing slide on a Ric 12- not sure of the exact type, but I think it may have been a 620 0r 660.

Cool....that jetglo 360/12 looks great in a concert setting, and it gives the guy a real cool factor, too.

I don't think any single "cool factor" can help Chris Martin. In fact, I don't believe the term applies!
