Scott...well spotted!

I hadn't noticed it was a 21 fretter, I was too busy making sure it had full width inlays and chequered binding....a rare one indeed!

For some unknown reason I can't access the above link. I'll go and check ebay.co.uk.

Okay--I would give my eye teeth for this one and I have bid on it already. It's at least as good as my '72, and the 21-fret construction is quite cool. Dunno about the case as an original, but the bass is a screamer.

BUT---with me being in the USA and the bass in England, and the seller not wanting to ship the bass anywhere (not even within the UK)--only local pickup, what can I do...? LOL I even thought of flying over to get it, I haven't been to Bath since 1983, it's about time I went again!!!

If anyone has any(practical) suggestions, now's the time to tell me. <waaah>

Hey Jim, is it true David Lynch is making a film of your life called "Twin Ricks - Fireglo With Me"???? Image

Re the V63, no, but watched it. Can't believe you can't shift V63s in the UK all of a sudden (on ebay at least). That is SOOO cheap by UK standards.

But still, back to more pressing matters....that lefty is GORGEOUS. I wish I had the money, and I'm not even left handed! (if anybody has a righty one they don't want -as if! - please let me know!) And John, I'd offer to pick it up for you but its down the other end of the country from me and I don't drive! Can anyone else in the UK who's nearer help John out? It'd be great to see it go to a Forumite. Good luck John! Oh, and good luck Henny's dad too! (Man, I've been looking for a righty like that for years; don't tend to go for mapleglo but those old ones; wow!!!)
