Yes, John's 4005 received quite a few nice compliments from us forum members when it was refinished by RIC more about a year ago.

Welcome Neil. Do you have a 4005? I have a '67 4005WB in Jetglo. Here is a pic of it with a couple of it's siblings!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm sorry to say that I don't own one. Hopefully one day but they are very rare to find for sale. I would really enjoy one in blueburst or jetglo.

In the above photo my Jetglo WB and the Fireglo WB on the left are only 7 serial numbers apart! The 4005 on the right is just a bit more. All born in February '67.

That BB is probably the 2nd nicest bass I have seen (After Mani's custom one that Squire painted)

more or less yes..as long as RIC does not put into production a 4005 reissue
