BT Tailpiece Needed

Post by rickfan60 »

The BT tailpiece on my BlackStar has been pulling up since it was new. The gap at this point is pretty large. Does anyone here have a BT tailpiece in excellent condition that might be for sale?

Ted, check with Jaymi, I think his new Red's came with Black hardware. i know when we spoke yesterday he was saying he wanted to swap out black for Chrome !!!

ted ... add 2 screws ... if you put another on the bass won't it just pull up as well????

The only basses that I don't add 2 extra screws to are 60's basses ... all of the rest will pull up sooner or later ...

I have so many that never pulled up. Some castings were just better than others. My '75 and '80 are both flat still.

The new reds have BT but I was planning on leaving the tailpieces on because they have the 2 addt'l screws already in place as factory.
