Of course the photo is reversed, but I haven't seen that actual Rick of his before this.

lol Brian!

He's a local hero here.

He got one of his 4001s from the same shop I got my 4003s and good old '72 4001.

Right on Mark. The closest I've come to greatness is a local guitar maker here in town has done some refinishing work for me. He makes guitars for Joe Perry, Steve Miller and the lads from ZZ Top. John Bolin. He's a real good guy and a talented one at that.

If you ever get to meet him, it'll be an experience you'll never forgot. Both times were a blast for me.

the 2nd time we were backstage just hanging out and partying after a show. he was wasted out of his gourd, as always, and was just extremely funny and very personable. not to mention that the folks from the supersuckers and nashville p*ssy were hanging out as well.

hopefully i'm going to meet him on the current tour and show him my latest tattoo, which is a full backpiece of one of motorhead's album covers. i have about 10 hrs left of work to do on it, we've done 55 so far.

Cockney? ;)

He's got a bit of LA in him now too as that's his main residence now, but that roughneck British is still in there.

How old is he?

He'll be 60 on Christmas Eve of this year. If you're a fan of the band, I highly recommend reading his autobiography, "White Line Fever".
