4004LK & Ed Roman

Post by phlemmy »

I called because their site said they had it in stock. According to the sales guy, Ed has 2 coming in, one he is keeping and the other is $10,000.

Ouch.

Supposedly he had three. According to Mike prks, he sold one for $7500. He had one on Ebay then pulled it.

Well, I have none, so that's only three less than he has...

Ok fellas... here's the plan!

Mark: You fake a seizure. While they are tending to you as you flop around the floor Sean and I spring into action.

Sean: Simply grab the basses and run to the car.

I will drive. Mark when they chase after us you run out the door.

We should probably have a few dry runs before the actual caper. It's fool proof...we can't miss.

Wait...did I say all of this out loud?

I've seen Drugstore Cowboy about 10 times. Will be at Bellagio hotel from 3/13-3/16. Let me know if you want to give it a try;>)

One problem, Ed probably wouldn't bat an eyelash if you had a seizure, LOL.

I'm flying there in May, mainly just to see his store. Maybe I'll get lucky and he'll have an old Ric in or maybe an old BC Rich Mockingbird.

Maybe Danny Ocean and his gang of eleven (or is it 12 now)? is available. If they can ripoff Terry Benedict, they can certainly handle Ed Roman! I think we can get this to work.

I think I'll just send in Fat Tony and the boys to do it.

If Ed Roman was buried in the desert how many days until we can drill for the oil left from his carcas? Image We can all be rich !

After I ordered my LK in '01 I called other stores to check availability and when I called Ed's store and explained that I had one on order and was checking into another I was promptly offered $2500-ish for my spot on the list. I don't know if it was Ed or one of his trolls but I knew they'd be looking for some hideous $$$$$$ but $10K is even more than I figured....
