Humbucker Pickup wiring on a 350SH (Susanna Hoffs)
What is the original factory wiring configuration for the Susanna Hoffs 350SH? This model is not listed in Rickenbacker's web page on Guitar Schematic diagrams. I assume that it would be the same as a 325, 350 or any of the John Lennon models, except that the Hoffs 350SH has a Humbucker with four colored leads (red, green, white and black). How are these four leads configured?

Thanks Mark! I searched through the Alt Guitar Rickenbacker FAQs and found a lot of good info on different coil tap configurations, as well as a lot of other good stuff on Ric humbuckers, but I couldn't find a clue on how the pickup wiring was originally configured from the factory. I guess all I really need to know is whether the coils were wired in series or parallel. If in series, I assume P/U board connection points 2 and 3 are connected together, but does pt. 1 or pt. 4 connect to ground? If parallel, then which of the two of the four contection points connect to ground and which two become the hot lead? It seems to me that this information should be fairly easy to find through a little research, but not so, unless I looking in the wrong direction. Would anyone with a Hoffs 350SH mind lifting their pickguard and letting me know what they see?
If you have a meter ,it is easy to figure out .
Each coil has two wires .
If you connect the centers you will get about 7K to 9K ....then you know when you have humbucking .
Figure green is ground and black is hot .
tie the others together .
If that is correct and when you combine the Humbucker with the other pickups ,and the volume drops out and gets really nasal...you are out of phase electrically. Reverse your hot and ground/earth wires.
