I'm not talking "New-Age/Celtic" like Enya, but the kind with fiddles, pipes, whistles, drums - fast, loud, rhythmic, and raucous.
I've been going to jam sessions a lot latel and they are loads of fun. I'd love to brng my 660/12 but the "tradition police" would fine me.
Anybody like Traditional Irish music?

Just got done with the 23rd Annual North Texas Irish Fest (www.ntif.org) sponsored by the Southwest Celtic Music Association.
Try CLannad or the Wicked Tinkers and of course, you can't go wrong with the Chieftains or Tommy Makem with or without the Clancy Brothers.
Nothing better than a wicked good budhran player in my opinion... and pipes and drums. Ah, yes... I like traditional IRish music well.
Best album of that ilk is Van Morrison and the Chieftains. You will like it.
