I saw that one Sean and couldn't make out the colour either....I thought maybe it was Midnight Blue and bad lighting in the photo, but it does have a Torquoise look to it.

from the seller:
"I am not sure....I see where the paint is worn, I can see the wood underneath, but no other colors or layers between...so I guess it is original...the plastic looking edging along the side of the bass has no sign of sanding or other color of paint?..

It is kind of beat (how did they ruin the bottom of it near the strap button?) but I really like the color.
