Man, Oliver, that thing is gorgeous. Yummy. I know what you mean about the reddish--both my new Ricks a
re MB and they photograph exactly like that.

You're going to do gold guards, right?

Beautiful, just beautiful...

Figured around 1500, J.Oliver. I can get my hands on a new 350 MB, right now, but they wanted 1750!
I countered with 15...no reply.

From whom, PM Blues? $1750 is definitely too high (the guitar at $1450 IMHO is too expesnive, that's what I paid for mine) but considering the relative rarity of the guitar, especially in that finish, and the fact that MB is no longer available for order, it might be worth it to someone...prices will probably only go up.

Just get a quote from another dealer (or two) if possible, on an in-stock instrument & present it to them. I'm not aware of any other dealer who has a 350v63MB at the moment.

Paul, yeah I'd love to do gold 'guards on mine, but the only one's I've seen that really look stunning with MB are the ones you have on your 381v69. It looks -outstanding-
You were right about the OG gold 'guards: they have too much of a green tint & it kinda looks funky with MB.

Thanks Oliver. I can't get enough of the Montezuma Brown finish, especially on this model.

I have a question - what kind of straps do you other 350 players use with your 350's? I've had a hard time finding one that I think is adequately comfortable and that doesn't slide all over the place. The guitar's weigt is obviously not an issue...

Thanks Peter, I am a MB-aholic to be sure . IMHO it's the greatest thing since, well, fireglo.

J. Oliver...can't help you on what kind of strap to attach on a 350 (sold my first one a year or so ago)...but in regards to the price you paid for your 350 MB I think is decent. You knocked off a good 33% of the current list, and it was for a discontinued color. Best price might have been around 1400. I'd say you did very well. And like you said there isn't much to choose from on 350's, zilch in MB except the one I mentioned, not even overseas as I can tell. Got a decent price on a 330 MB but I am more in want of a 350 MB, just not willing to swallow on the price.

Oh yeah I agree that for a 350 I got a fair price. What I meant was that it's an expensive guitar generally speaking for having no chequered binding or FWMOP inlays.

Unequivocally worth it though, as I said. I love this guitar and would happily dispense with my $1450 any day to get another one.

I see a 350v63FG in my future! Maybe next year after RIC decides against making purple (again)...

Music123.com has the 350v63 for $1372. You have to enter your email and then they send you the quote. (jetglo, fireglo, mapleglo, midnight blue)
