OK, on page 9 of the link above (Vic Concert in Chicago, in my old neighborhood, BTW!) there are some bigger pics. They are not clear on the strings, but I do believe that I can see the screws that hold it to the top of the guitar. The angle on the second picture shows it to be fastened down. Why he would use a Bigsby AND a trapeze is anyone's guess... but who needs logic? Check out the GREENGLO mandolin on page 6! |

I believe whoever mounted the Bigsby did so on top of the trapeze, possibly to "level" the B5. The screw holes from the trapeze mounting bracket would not be an issue then either. This guitar sounds fantastic in the "Soundstage" concert. Who says Rickenbackers are not "lead" guitars? |
