Remove the Made in USA stickers... And you'll be set.

The VC4 (single) and VC12 (dual) pedals are listed as options for the AD60VTX, Patrick. Not sure whether the VC4 allows you to control the wah, but the VC12 certainly does!!

Still looking for the right amp Howard? I tried a 're-issue' Vox AC30 at a guitar shop in Brisbane a week or two back. All the original features and the Grestch I was playing sounded great through it. Retail was $1600, but no doubt you could bargain that down.

Any idea what model it was, Lee?

I've tried a few VOXs over the last couple of weeks and the AC30CCX2 (twin Bulldogs) at $2999 was by far the best (apart from the '63 with original valves and Celestion Blues - still available, now down to $4600).

I've pretty much decided on a Roland JC-120 but the near mint '63 AC30 would be a good investment, in my opinion.

What do you think?

Cheers

H

Paul: I was talking about the Vox Wah which is built into the AD60VTX...

I would imagine that at the back of your VC you have a plug that looks a bit like a Ethernet plug (8 connections). Well that will plug into the back of my amp and I believe from there, as Howard said, the pedal will be able to control the Wah.

Although I haven't gotten around to it, it has 32 programmable presets that I can change to whatever I want. I'm sure that in a live setting changing inbetween songs is a realistic possibility. Although I've never actually used the amp in a live setting since I don't have a band to play gigs with!

Both models also have footswitches, so I imagine you'd be able to switch effects and turn them on and off from there, Patrick.

You can check them out by going to the Vox site, selecting your amp model and taking the links in the 'options' section at the bottom of the page.
