Part Three: Barrie Brings On The Bass

Then a persistent heavy beat from bass player Barrie (Baz) Cowell heralded the longest song in the set, "Kiss You All Over", which lasts for 10 minutes or more, and includes an impressive guitar break from the latest recruit to the line-up, Kevin Healey (previously with Brian Poole and the Electrix), who replaced Paul Jackson during the 1999 Sixties Gold Tour.

Obviously feeling the heat up on stage, Mike removed his jacket before changing the tempo for the Buddy Holly medley consisting of "That'll Be The Day", "Peggy Sue", "Heartbeat", and "Oh Boy", and soon everyone on the dance floor was jiving away to some of the best rock 'n' roll tunes ever written!

"Do you remember this one?" Mike wanted to know. He got his answer when after just a few notes on his guitar the place erupted as they went into the Searchers' biggest hit of all time - Needles And Pins!
