Then it was back to some good old rock 'n' roll as Kevin took the lead vocal, and gave us a great rendition of Status Quo's "Rockin' All Over The World"!
A reprise of "Walk In The Room", brought the set to an end, and returning to the stage to take their bow to ecstatic cheers from the audience, the boys left us with the encore, Ronan Keating's beautiful ballad, "When You Say Nothing At All", during which Mike created a great atmosphere by getting everyone in the place to join hands and sing along - Fantastic!
As the boys left the stage, their ears ringing with the applause and calls for more, they were able to spend just a few minutes with some of their fans and friends before leaving in order to try and grab a couple of hours sleep prior to flying off to the States early the next morning.
We'd had a great night, as we always do with MPS - in fact we were still on a high when we got home well after 2am! But as the alarm clock sounded at 6.45am, and we crawled bleary-eyed out of bed and dragged ourselves off to work, we had to ask ourselves if it was really worth it.
YOU BET IT WAS !!!!!
