They're a bit pricey. These Sony headphones might be more your speed, they're a bargain at $4,000. Leather case included.T.A.R. wrote:Wow, well I did say that I can afford suddenly the beats or the others don't seem that bad.

Unreal I should've known the sky's the limit.

Well, you can stay with the Beats by Dre brand and get their diamond encrusted version by London based Graff Diamonds for a mere $1,000,000...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
Re: Beats by Dre
Well I've listened to the solo HDs and I wasn't impressed, the Studios on the other hand were indeed impressive, if the Pros are that much of a step above the Studios, Wow! I think a trip to hear others is in order. Bottom line I have to upgrade my silent running practice gear.

KRK KNS 8400 is what I use - they're simply good. They fit well; I can wear them hours on end without issues, and best of all, they have a realistic bass level, which is one of the tests it had to pass when I first tried them.

I recently picked up a pair of monoprice pros for twenty bucks.
