You can put this one to bed by emailing or calling Andy Babiuk at the HOG.

Andy handled many of the Fabs guitars first hand and gained access to thousands of Beatle pics some of which he was forebidden to print in his book due to copyright reasons.

I met a few of the guys/firms he was working ...

Buyer beware.....unless you can inspect these types of instruments first hand it makes no sense to take the risk.

Note that Justin of Music Ground does state that the guitar has been re-freted. Changing the entire fingerboard with the re-fret is a small investment price given the opportunity to ...

IMHO, the guitar is a fake. The seller is reluctant to provide any pics of the inside of the guitar or take addiitional specific pics of the body. He is evasive and responds to questions with questions. Buyers beware!

I purchased some of the C58's from a couple GC's and sold some immediately.

They are in "reliced" condition with some nicks and dings, which would make them good candidates for modification projects as discussed in this thread. I would sell them for $975 each. Parted out these guitars are worth more ...
