I liked the dual concentric pots I had on my 4004Ci. I felt like I had the greatest tonal flexibility available.

There are two Rics in the March edition of Bass Player magazine. There's a photo of Squarepusher holding a Ric on page 44. The vintage bass article shows a '69 4001 that looks all original except for the bridge pickup.

My '99 v63 measures out at about 7/8" depth, 1 3/4" width at the nut and about 2 1/4" - 2 3/8" at the 12th fret. The depth seems pretty consistent throughout the length of the neck.
