I had a Guild B-301. I loved it. It was stolen. :evil: It felt like if Gibson made a great bass guitar that wasn't awkward to play, this would have been it.
I thought the sound was a little closer to that of a P-Bass (but not as honky) than a 4001 or 4003 treble pickup.

How did we get to a Guild B ...

Here in SoCal, we were having them so often that we kinda got burned out on them ... but it would be nice to have one like the old days, with instruments displayed. 8)

Not anymore. It's been a long time since we've had any instrument related event. Circumstances have made it harder to organize ...
