John Lennon Museum in Saitama, Japan

Hi everyone

I copy this thread from a Martin Guitar forum.I hope it doesn't matter to the original poster, Flat5sub, who writes a sensational review for those who live so far away from Japan.

Enjoy!

I don't know if it is the same kind of strap on acoustics and basses but this pics helped me to tie the strap in my violin bass.

Cheers

I like the image of the band. I love that Intro pictures all dressed in black. I personally find a little bit ridiculous when men at theirs 40 (or more) try to fit in those Beatles suits they wore in the old days.

I mean, it isn’t necessary to dress as a young mop-top Beatle to sound as a very ...

Yes, I know what you mean Paul. I felt exactly the same the other day playing the Bm chords in "What you're doing" middle eight.

Recording rehearsals

Hello everyone,
I’ve found this picture that I had never seen before. I think it’s noticeable the tape recorder lying near Paul’s chair. It seems they were recording the rehearsal (for latter testing and improving purposes, I guess). I wonder if some of these rough recordings made for themselves at ...

Thanks Randy,
I think that is the right answer too. They recorded some many songs that month (more than 50 own compositions and an uncountable number of covers) that isn't weird to hear new undeveloped songs or mere improvisations captured in many bootlegs here and there.

A case of the blues (?)

Hello

I’ve found this Lennon's song in internet. Its title is “A case of the blues” and it comes in The Complete Lost Lennon Tapes Vol. 6. Does anybody know when or where this demo was recorded or something related to it? Although its sound quality isn’t good it’s strange Yoko didn’t included ...

Walter Everet (The Beatles as musicians ) quotes Barry Milles’ book about an argument between McCartney and Harrison that led to George to play bass in this track. Everet also adds the following. “ George had photographed with a Burns bass during these sessions; this recording would then mark his ...

Rare spanish singles in ebay

Hello

I’ve found this items in ebay and at least one of them is extremely rare: an Spanish original EP from 1963 with the Spanish translation of the song’s titles in front and back cover. This is the kind of thing you can see in magazines when they made an around the world section picture covers ...

Thanks Michael,
I had no idea about Horst Fascher. Your information allowed me to find this interesting site:
