RIC strings work the best for me. Perfect guage. Hard to coem by locally. Mail order. VERY expensive.

I have seen some of the 12 string reissues with tuner problems. I have found sometimes the screws that attach the tuner are a bit long and sometimes interfere with the opposing tuner. Check it out, by backing out the screws and see if the tuner binds. If so, you can file a little bit of the screff ...

I just looked at my stock six saddle bridge from my 1997 360-12V64. The two grooves are nicely centered. The other day I saw a 330-12. It's notches were really skewed and to one side. I guess I got lucky.

When I had my 330-6, I used the fifth know to back off the neck pickup in the middle postion. It allowed me to keep the bite of the bridge pickup, but with a little more bottom end. On my 12 string, I feel the neck pickup is a little muddy, so it allows me to add treble to it. Otherwise, leave it ...
