I love my rick 330 but despise the over sized Black Hardshell case. I only take my rick out of the house for a 30 minute guitar lesson once a week. Does anyone here carry there rick in a gig bag? If so whats the best one to get?

Tom petty uses a Fender Bassman with his AC30.

I think the Bigsby B6 is the best because it requires the least drilling and less notacible drilling. Plus it looks better then the B5 IMO.

Well I dont expect to get it perfect but somewhat closer sounding. I also play alot of dirty blues like The Black Keys and think a humbucker sounding guitar would make it sound more authentic.

Well I want to be able to play heavier stuff when I feel like it like Metallica as the heaviest.

I have a Ric 330 with the Hi-gains.

I really love my Ric but I want to be able to do it all with it. I am so used to it I dont want a new guitar. I would prefer to just change the pick-ups. what do the Rickenbacker Humbuckers like?

Does anyone have pics of one with a accent tremelo?

My 6 string ric 330 is noticably weaker sounding on solid state amps and fine on tube amps. I took it to the guitar shop and they said it is perfectly fine. Just turn the volume up.

Good Idea. How does your it stay in tune with the bigsby on it?

I am not a big fan of the accent tremelo which is why I havent considered it. I think ricks look superb with a bigsby. The only thing Im worried about is it staying in tune. I think if I get a professional to install it it will stay it tune better because they know what to do.

I have been thinking about having a professional put a Bigsby on my Rick 330. Does this sound dumb? I play alot of modern stuff and have no guitars with a vibrato/tremelo and would like one. The rick is my baby and I think is the only guitar I will ever play so this would be the one to get a bigsby ...

Well I should have been a little more clear. I wanted to know if anyone has attempted a Dirty Blues style slide on a rick.

Ive been listing to a lot of slide stuff and was wondering what Slide sounds like on a ric. I think I might try it someday.
