I bought some lipstick humbucker pickups from guitarfetish to ut into my Dano U2-56 earlier this year. Found out that the pickups are about a whole inch or 2 shorter than the existing pickups still in my Dano now.....

Do you reckon if I stuck them on my 620/12, I could get that legendary ...

I'm one of those who tends not to listen to 'feel good' music as usually, I get angry rather than down. So, metal all the way! Particular favourites include:
Behemoth - Slaves Shall Serve, As Above, So Below and Conquer All
Akercocke - Verdelet
Decapitated - The Fury
Devildriver - End Of The ...

That's providing I spelled resterant right, which I probably didn't. Musst be the rum.... ARRRGH!

Well if Rickenbacker ever made a 7 string guitar, I'd buy and use that. But, they don't. So I tune mine to drop B, as you probably know by now. I say it enough times ;).

Today on the 21st, exactly one year ago, my first Rickenbacker turned up on my doorstep from Holland. Since then, my lefty 620/12 although isn't in the colour I wanted, has helped me improve my playing no end. It sounds gorgeous clean, sounds amazing with distortion and despite being 16 years old ...

Argh, been away so long I missed my chance to show off my lefty 620/12 again Something which the section seemed to be missing. When it's all done with, can we have a week for those who missed their chance to post pics of their Ric(s)?

Not wanting to be one to pee on the party, but am I the only person here who looked at that headstock and felt a little bit... funny? I think it looks pretty ugly, personally.

And after what I'm about to say next, I'm ready for the enevitable hating but it has to be said, but: If this was a bog ...

May I chime in on this one? Some of you might remember (though twas a while ago) that I love my metal. Not so much heavy metal like Black Sabbath etc, but extreme metal like Emperor, Nile, Chothonic etc. I also play metal as best I can on my 620/12. Unusual, yeah but it works! The extra strings help ...

I suppose me and Biscuti could qualify for the BC Rich-alike double neck... not that either of us would want to... I'm not particularly a fan of double necks and even less of a fan of BC Richs. They don't look right in anything other than black. Just.... what's the point of buying a blue gothic ...
