Has Rickenbacker really increased their price that much? I remember almost buying a new Monty Brown 4003 from Mike Parks for under $1100 Image

Am I crazy?

I'll admit that I've been out of the loop in the last few months and stopped GAS'n over Ricks, but has the price of Ricks really jumped that much? Someone over on another forum is selling their 2003 Monty Brown 4003 for almost $2000. Someone else sold their Jetglo 4003 for almost $1700!!

On a side note - When he took the 4001 to Nashville someone walked up to him after he finished playing it and offered him $1000 ...

660/12 Fireglo Tom Petty Signature spotted!

Just today I spotted a Petty signature for sale in Cowtown Guitars, here in Vegas. It had a $2500 price tag on it so I didn't bother picking it up. But cosmetically it looks excellent! He also claims it was formerly owned by Ed King (Strawberry Alarm Clock). I'm not sure if anyone here is looking to ...

While we're on the topic of yellowing, what would be the best way to take the yellowing off a Tuxedo? I much rather have it all bright white, is there a way to restore the original factory color without getting too nasty like a refin? Although I may change my mind once it finally arrives.

i play mostly with a pick as well, i just pick the same way i would with a guitar except for when i triple pick. when i triple pick i find that using my index and middle finger holding the pick against my thumb as opposed to just my index finger allows me to have a lot more control. i'll usually use ...
