I got a chance to play a 68 SF 360 a few years ago. It worked pretty well. Well enough that you'd get really used to it quickly. I have no feeling in my pinky fingertip and I was still able to play leads on it and do chords barre and otherwise. I play a 360 wb and I spent more time getting used to ...

I have had two white guitars over the years. One was a cheap Vantage with a hard epoxy style finish at least a 16th of an inch thick. That would NEVER yellow it would however chip if dropped on hard surfaces, but in normal use essentially bulletproof. The other was a gibson les paul, which after ...

I'm very pleased with the boss cs-3 for the sustain alone but the added clairity is amazing.

It would be fairly easy for Rickenbacker to make even. The thru neck is already in production all you need is differently shaped body wings and another pickup. Just like that you have a completely new and competitive lineup!

If I could find a real combo 850 like in turquoise with the gold guard ...

That 330 would be just too much effort to make function for my time. Yet, as far as the 481 I'm trying to get that one. I can build a 481 body from a tracing and I have some extra Rick hardware. Slanted frets and everything It'll be a fun project. It's one of those odd instruments that always ...

I was 16 when I was lucky enough to happen by my '88 360WB and saw a $800 pricetag on it. Sadly I had no money. Two months later I saw it again at the same shop. I asked the guy if I could get it for $550. He said yes! I quickly sold my awfull Les Paul that I had bought new and an old 12 string ...

Speaking of using dano pedals, anyone try the rotary speaker emulator? It looks like it has all the features I would use and it would be nice to not lug my leslie up stairs. My purple 330/12 sounds amazing through the Leslie. Low setting especially. Image

I hear ya on the 24 fret necks I love them! Also I would absolutely DROOL over a new 360WB or (even better in my case) a 370WB with CHECKED binding.

I also have been trying to figure out how to build a guitar with a 325-350 shaped body but with a thru neck and features of the 650 series, even ...

I'm assuming that If you mute the strings then you have removed the bridge cover. If the cover screws are STILL in the bridge than they can touch the lower plate. If this is the case, then they can sometimes touch the plate and take pressure off the adjustment screws and they will loosen. I haven't ...

Now when I took a look at it the other day there was no way to separate the black cover to access the windings without destroying it as they are glued together. I will check Aero because I'd sure like to have my main guitar back and spend less then $100 to do it. Thanks! You local to San Diego too ...

Oh here's another trick that can be done if you really want to change a pickus but retain the stock look. The pickup cover can hold a seymour duncan hot rail, and it dosen't look that different from a short distance. I'm not sure what other pickups will fit inside them. The way I see it with moding ...
