WHAT???

Did I miss something? I didn't know this was up for grabs!
Private contact and private sale.
The offered sale price was too good to not take it.

Cheers,

Steve

URL NO Longer Active

Sorry everyone but like George said "All Things Must Pass".

The website that I was parking this track at is now defunct, that Band has one more gig, tonight, and I turn the page on Blue Jade.

Thanks so much for the listens, comments, questions and PM's regarding technique etc.

Cheers,

Steve

Re: Jet-Glo Score!

Boy do I feel like a genuine Muttonhead.

I started taking apart the JG 360 this afternoon, carefully placing parts and screws in an extra large clear plastic, partioned keeper tray (tackle box for those from Wisconsin/Minnesota), and labeling them so there are no surprises when assembling ...

Re: Jet-Glo Score!

The clean-up / restoration process with Scratch x / Zymol treatment begins shortly.
Just as soon as I can get a couple of days to myself without studio time interuptions :)

Well, that and complete my Music Room Project too.

In no rush to get it done in any other manner than the right way using ...

Re: Jet-Glo Score!

Look no further Kenny! Rumbleseat..............
I'm scared to look at the price though...the tone of Steve's post was that he got a good deal on it. Maybe someday...

I feel your anguish Kenny, I didn't look but knowing the general atmosphere at Rumble Seat Music when they price vintage ...

Re: Little Moments

Nice sound Steve, I can see why the engineer gave you a copy. So if I understand correctly this was exclusively a line out from the amp, no mic on the speakers or blending? If so, does the 2x15 cab faithfully reproduce the same sound?

Correct Tom,

He ran a 1/4" line from the slave output, which ...

Re: Orange OR120 - Used for part of my Last Studio Gig

COOL! So how did it sound?

Okay enough of the audiophile rhetoric, sound sample, in a rough mix context, has a link posted here:

I heard more bottom end and treble in the room but then I WAS 4 ft. away from it  , same room ...

Little Moments

I previously posted some pix in "The Others" Forum of an Orange OR120 and its matching 2x15 Reflector cabinet.
The big question asked was how did it sound?

I rarely am party to hearing a finished track let alone a rough mix just to hear what was captured, let alone 2nd take  .
Engineer liked ...

Re: Orange OR120 - Used for part of my Last Studio Gig

Hey John,

Totally understand the phenomena, but always wind up using those dreaded "audiophile" when it comes to trying to describe vintage valve tone.

I've owned and gigged heavily on Ampeg, Sound City, Orange, Marshall, Garnett, Laney, and Hi-Watt tube amps back in my touring heyday, so I am ...

SWEET!!!

Talk about a trip into the Way Back Machine........ I felt like I was at a Wishbone Ash session

Rib Rattling, Chest Thumpin, PUNCH, that only got PUNCHIER when I plugged in the Rickenbacker.

2-15" FANE speakers in what was called a Reflector ...
