Thanks for the advice guys..I've purchased a mapleglo 4001V63 from Chris at pick of the ricks.Its ( the bass )in Oregon right now,and I'm in Sydney :-( .But will be meeting it in LA when my band does two weeks there in July ;-) ...cant wait.Great service from Chris,it cost me AUD$2475 and is still ...

Hi guys, going into the studio today to record And Your Bird Can Sing.Unfortunately, I dont have my Ric bass yet so I have to do it on a Hofner.Do any of you guys have any tips re: Paul's playing and/or sound on this particular track.I've read the post about Revolver but thats more for guitar.Help ...

Hi joakim, I'm in Australia and I'm buying one from the US for $1295.I think you're price is pretty spot on....I did find one for $900, but he sold it to someone else for $1300.Go for it!

I am about to purchase a 4001v63mg, the only numbers the owner has given me is 6906.Can anyone help me date this bass?Any help would be appreciated.

As for sugary stuff,hmmm. If I could play bass and sing something like "So Bad" (pipes of peace) I'd be writing more of that stuff than McCartney.
