Re: Gene Clark cover: In a Misty Morning

Yep, I guess I am very much in an 80s indie phase and probably have been since the 80s. Thanks for the feedback on the drums it's much appreciated. Drums are what I think of and, therefore, hear least - as programming drums isn't as fun as playing bass or guitar. I will definitely take more time on ...

Gene Clark cover: In a Misty Morning

Just listened to Mark's corking Kinks cover and thought I'd share my recently finished dabbling with a Gene Clark cover on my silly myspace page.

Hopefully Gene wouldn't disapprove too much :)

Re: U.K Stores and Sightings

Thanks for the info Scotty. I did email them for pictures in the week. No wonder they didn't reply! Long term I'm looking more for a fireglo 360/12 so probably for the best that it didn't work out. I haven't got time to play one at the moment, though, as the 330/6 is still far too demanding. Cheers,...

Re: U.K Stores and Sightings

http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~name~Rickenbacker-350V63-Liverpool---Jetglo~ID~9475.asp This one's a few quid cheaper. If my memory servers me right, which it doesn't often, I think Peter Cook's were selling one for £1200 recently too. So I guess... in the words of Leslie Crowther, the price is ...

Re: Rickenbackers in the UK. Post pix here...

Hi, Put my new pride and joy up the other day on the main board, but I can't see why I can add it to the UK list too. This lives with me up in the tropical Highlands. http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/pp223/toescantalk/MBcloseup001.jpg http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/pp223/toescantalk/MBinthedar...

Re: U.K Stores and Sightings

I should be an expert on this as I've been trawling websites for weeks before I eventually got my MB 330 (they don't have many music shops in Inverness and none with any Rickenbackers). This page still makes me drool though: http://www.guitarvillage.co.uk/product-list.asp?manuid=85&catid=6 I'd t...

Re: New owner and thanks!

Thanks for the welcomes.

Yep, I was struggling to make my mind up between Jetglo and Fireglo and then saw a picture of my MB for sale online and that was the one!

Cheers,

Martin

New owner and thanks!

Hi, I got a Monty Brown 330 this weekend second hand and was having a few issues with it e.g top e string volume, ringing g string etc. Never really had to setup a guitar before, but I searched through the archives on here and read the manual thoroughly to get the confidence to play with the allen k...
