Re: show your custom bass!!!
Nice to see you and the bass here Zdenek. Stan did a good job on that CS!
Thank You Andy. Stan made couple pieces of extension, survived just this one, because the most problematic part was the 21 fret with hair amount of wood around, to use CNC machine for this work brought poor result, so I ...

Re: show your custom bass!!!

The neck pick up was lowered, so not huge sound is present  ,
Usually I use bridge pick-up only, or combination of both PUs with volume on neck PU slightly down. The result is similar, like longer distance ...

Re: show your custom bass!!!
Indeed! Nice work, Dane and Bruce!
Zdenek, I see in your avatar that your Harleybacker's headstock is checker-bound. I'd love to see a bigger pic if you can post one. :D

Re: show your custom bass!!!
No, my luthier made 4 frets fretboard from similar looking wood and we glued the addenum using duble side gluing tape, so this modification is reversible.johnallg wrote:Zdenek, that is cool! How did you add the CS frets? All new fretboard?

I´m thinking about the better white coat of the knobs and maybe about the silver toggle switch. No energy for the improvement in this time....walker wrote:Hey - a bonus if you get hungry during a gig!

Re: Cosmo Studios Photo Retouching - Guitar Samples
The origin of the white backround is more interesting. If You buy Prosciutto di Parma in the cuts, this is a pearl glossy white separating foil. So I made probably first toaster pick-up with the ham flavourjps wrote:Interesting detail work on the toaster.

 JH preamp! Those are pretty pricy!!! Have you tried the JH power amps?
I didn´t try JH power amp, I needed more wattage to feed hungry PJB boxes. QSC is not bad power amp, more than 3kW and 9 kg only!
BTW: In my pedalboard You can see another Jonas Hellborg piece - his ...

Re: My old amp rig
Back in MY day (mid '70s), I had one of those (on the far left, I think). The Acoustic 370 head and the folded single 18" speaker cab (collectively known as the 371). I loved the caution sticker on the back: "Caution: Sound levels may exceed 120 Db within six (or was it 10 or 12) feet of this ...
