Re: McCartney: Blessing the Beatles never Re-Formed
I call Bulsh (BS) on Sir Paul. He would have reformed in a minute, and was the only Beatle that really missed playing live after they stopped touring in 1966. George Harrison had the famous quotes post Beatle breakup where he stated that he would never be in a band again with Paul McCartney, & wh...

Re: Echo -- Was it all that bad?

Backing vocal "So You Want To Be A Rock & Roll Star".
I was wondering if anyone knew the official backing vocal for the last verse of "So You Want To Be A Rock And Roll Star"? I believe it's Crosby singing the part while Roger & Chris doubled the lead vocal. Also I have heard their live performance of this song at The Monterry Pop Festiva...

I bought the Shea Stadium jacket from that site. Killer stuff and the Abbey Road crosswalk jacket will be next someday. Make sure if you get the Shea jacket you also get the Wells Fargo badge.

Favorite Byrd
As Crosby, Hillman & McGuinn have all said there is only one real Byrds line up, the original one. So who is your favorite and why?

Re: Macca at the Grammy's
Great performance as always just didn't like the song selection. With SO many great songs how about something fresh and new?? Maybe a Beatle/Wings song he hasn't played live in awhile. I have seen him perform "I Saw Her Standing There" so much now if he never performs that one again it wil...

Wow what a bummer. It says he died 1-31-09 and I just found out. Man this slipped by the news reports. I recently have gotten into The Buffalo Springfield and they are quickly becoming one of my favorite bands.

Re: Beatles and the Festival scene
I believe The Beatles were on the board of directors for the Monterey Pop Festival, and it was Macca who recommended they have Jimi Hendrix perform. Since all these festivals of the 60's were after they decided to stop touring, they wanted nothing to do with live performances.
