Re: In Search Of...
Well... doesn't have to be carbon copy, but something along the lines of Eight Miles High or Turn Turn Turn.

Re: Which Strap Locks for my new 620/6
I happen to have an extra set of the Schaller locks floating around and just tried this and I'm not sure if this will work -
They do fit over the buttons, but the buttons have a flat face, rather than the dimple found on the Schaller button. So, unless I am missing something, its not going to lock ...

Re: In Search Of...
Sounds fine, but it does seem like you can hardly read about the Ric 12 or the Byrds sound anywhere without compression coming up, so I figured it was important. I did get some tips from Monte Allums that sound like a good starting point, but definitely still interested in opinions from Forumites ...

Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right subforum, mods please advise if not. Now that I have my 360/12 its time to hunt for That Sound (or as close as I can get). Much of what I read emphasizes compression. I understand the basics of compression, and I use it on my acoustics (just a touch) to balance ...

Re: may be pulling the trigger....
Well, it was the real deal, and as far as I can tell, I HIT the lottery!!! Looks like he bought it in Feb of '97 and put it in the case and that was that. Case is still new looking, guitar doesn't even have a speck of dust on it. In fact, it has the orginal strings on it, and they are even pristine ...

Re: may be pulling the trigger....
Thanks! Anyone know of any super-obvious things to ask or look for, besides the usual for any used guitar?

may be pulling the trigger....
Guys... not sure what to think here, but I may have really gotten lucky. Found a local '97 360/12V64 in FG, by all indications in flawless condition. I was able to talk him down to $1700. Going to look at it tomorrow.
Wish me luck!! If it turns out to be in the cards, I'll post pics ASAP!

Re: Self-destructing tailpiece anyone?
I was at the Dallas Guitar Show this weekend, and saw a new 360/12 with the chrome "R" tailpiece whcih had apparently moments earlier snapped. It was on the left side looking at it from the front, at the skinniest part of the R leg. Of course, all the strings were sprung loose, looked like a little ...

Hi all,
Thought I would stop in and introduce myself (not at all working towards my minimum posts for the marketplace or anything  ). My name is Adam, I don't currently own any Ric's but have been drooling over them forever, specifically 3xx series 12 strings. I am primarily an acoustic player ...
