I use Rickenbacker strings on Rickenbacker basses 4003 and Thomastic strings on Rickenbacker fretless bass 4003

I using for cleaning strings ultrasound cleaner (it use for clean spectacles etc.).
The strings be better. It better technique than boiling.

Beautiful summer day here in SE Wisconsin, so had to shoot some pix. Turquoise, while not a "color of the year," is uncommon compared with the standard Fireglo, Jetglo, Mapleglo (and even Midnight Blue), so adding these two to the Rickenbacker National Forest was irresistible. Rickenbacker original vs. Japan copy RIC

I have two bass RIC
1) natural is Japan copy AZTEC - probably about 30 years old
2) RIC 4003 FG (2009)
The both bass have nice sound. Japan copy have old ric sound and original ric have new modern. I using both bass on concerts.

I have for my RIC 4003 amp ampeg svt3pro (450W) and boxs ampeg svt115(200W) + svt112(300W)
The sound is very nice.
