Re: What are you plugging your 360 into?

I'm not a smart Amp guy, so I don't bring much to the table. I have two "good" amps; a 1995 Fender Ultimate Chorus and a 2005 Fender Deluxe Reverb RI. Seriously, my bandmates tell me ALWAYS use the Ric into the Ultimate Chorus and use the DRRI as the back up or for when I play the Guild Starfire IV ...

Re: What are Rickenbacker for?

I have bben playing my red 360-6 for many, many years. I play everything on it EXCEPT Beatles. Frequently someone will approach me and say "Hey, just like John Lennon's". Ah, no, John never used a 360, nor did ever play a red anything, but I get what people are saying. The perception on the ...

Hey,
Just got back to Brantford. I hung the 360 back up on my wall beside the black Les Paul, but oddly the Ric seemed to hang with on an angle away from Les Paul...something it never did, but it did spend time with family last night. I must thank Craig and Steve for the great accomodation and ...

Steve, I can drive in from Brantford, so please add me to the list of attendees. Personally, I add nothing, but my 1991 red 360 might add a bit of glo...so I'll bring him too.

Jerry, the best companion for the red 360 is a turquoise 381...ya know do the christmas theme.

I am always amazed at how many times after a gig someone will come up and say..."hey, a John Lennon guitar!" ...odd as John never played a red anything, but I know what they mean. I offer more amusement ...

Melissa, yes one Ric, but my wife and I have talked about it and we are trying to have more...she's quite a lady! We just bought the Setzer Gretsch, but I am not become inspired by it.

Jerry, thanks for your interest, but the 360 is RED, not RUBY, Red was around for a short time, mine is a 1991 ...

I have never lost, sold or traded a Rickenbacker...and after reading this thread, I will try not to. However, my friends on this forum may not care, but at the risk of looking really stupid I will say that I DID trade a 1967 White Falcon for a 1978 Ibanez Musician!...straight! I also traded a 1964 ...

Bob, what a nice story. I concur that the Rickenbacker enthusiast has a friendly and hospitible edge. It is more evident when participating on other-brand forums...and I do not mean this unkindly to those folks in any way. I too find it a privelage to be part of this bunch especially with the ...

Yikes, Peter, I DO hope you did not take offense here. I should have been a little more visionary and added the motivation is purely an appreciative one. Everyone on this board benefits from your time and work.
Hey at least let me buy you a Tim Horton's Iced Capaccino when we meet.
