No offense, but I always find this a very interesting comment when someone owns a nice instrument. How did you and/or your BF come into possession of this bass if neither of you know anything about it? Just curious about how this works. 8)

Why not just put it on E-Bay? Any local guitar store needs to cover their overhead, so they have to pay you less than it's worth retail. Check out similar models on E-Bay and price in the mid-range of what you see, and it'll be gone right quick.
