Re: MMMMmmmm toobey goodness!

Welcome to the Mesa family. I have a 400 that I used for years until I tried the Fathom head, and instantly fell in love. It's alot lighter than the 400, and I can dial in any tone I need. You defintly got a deal on that head. Didn't want to lug around the 6x10 eh?

Re: Top 10 Metal Albums

"Looks" was from their second album "Shout At The Devil". I do think that "Too Fast for Love" might make my top 10. Great topic!! I'm compiling my list now.

Re: Metal that sounds like other metal

That "metal that sounds like other metal" series is great! I emailed the link to a bunch of my highschool buds. How could somebody remember some of those bands.

Re: Adjustment time for a Rickenbacker

I was playing a Jazz bass when I got my first Ric. I instantly fell in love with the Ric tone, but it felt really different to play, no place to rest my thumb and it didn't seem bulky like my Jazz did. It took me a week before I decided to put the Jazz away forever and just get used to the feeling ...

Re: Rick in Macy's parade

If I was him, I would have pulled a Jack Bruce. Slapped on a six string and showed everyone how stupid the idea of a real performance was. Course their record company probably made them do it. :?
